Social Structure
Within the social structure of the Qin Dynasty there was a specific order and specific way to treat others in a different social structure. The social structure is set up accordingly from greatest power and property to least power and property: emperors, shenshi (bureaucrats and wealthy landowners who wealthied themselves into office) , peasants, workers, artists, merchants, and soldiers. The soldiers were too busy fighting to own anything, the merchants and the artists were always trading and bartering....either moving around or hiding in the shadows. Even though the peasants---a higher class than the soldiers---were treated badly or equally by the lower, lower class, such as soldiers and artists. Women had no rights what so ever... kind of reminds you of Egypt, without the women's rights,
they possess no power what so ever.
they possess no power what so ever.
