The Qin Dynasty was the first to have an emperor, and was the first multi-national, unified, and power-centralized state in the history of China. It lasted from 221 to 207 BC. Although only spanning 15 years, and containing only two emperors, this dynasty had a huge impact on the following dynasties in China, and has left behind several important landmarks.
